It's Raining Raincoats in Room 8!

Kia ora guys,

Last week Room 8 did a Technology Challenge. The challenge was to make a waterproof raincoat that had a hood, sleeves, a belt and a cellphone pocket. We were put into groups of 4-5 and our only resources to use were 7 plastic bags, cellotape and a vivid. The winner of the challenge was Taylor's group. Their raincoat was fantastically awesome. Here are some photos of the models.

This term our virtue is Responsibility and for an assignment Mrs Binnie gave the class a task to do that day. We were split into four groups of four and had half an hour to take at least six photos that represent Responsibility. When we were done taking the photos we converted the photos into a Comic Life strip.
Here are some photos that Joey,Holly,Te Maunga and Corban took to represent Responsibility .

    Joey is not being responsible because he is on the wrong side of the path and he will hurt someone.

                                                       Like Holly for instance! Poor Holly.

            Joey is now being responsible because he is on the right and safe side of the foot path.
